ICL1240 SoC Cascaded 3T8R Evaluation Board
The EVB1380/EVB1381 development kit is equipped with two ICL1240 SoCs, a 3T8R array, an ARM M7 MCU and a Type‑C interface. It supports data output from the SoC via SPI with a maximum SPI rate of 50 Mbps.
The EVB1380/EVB1381 development kit enables mmWave sensor developers to rapidly evaluate the cascading capability of the ICL1240. It allows for automatic generation of register configurations based on the required radar parameters. Developers can observe and analyze collected data in real-time, easily develop algorithms, and implement a wide range of applications for multiple scenarios. The kit supports evaluation of various operating modes of the cascaded ICL1240, including TDM and multi-waveform settings.
The development kit includes two evaluation boards with different antenna designs. The EVB1380 is equipped with a single‑patch transmit antenna, and the EVB1381 is equipped with a dual‑patch transmit antenna for performance evaluation in various application scenarios.
